How much should a 20 gallon regular tank cost?

I'm thinking about upgrading my 10 gallon into a 20 gallon regular, since it has almost the same dimensions but twice the volume, so I can fit in more fish. How much should it cost for the tank and a glass hood?

Dunno about the hood, but I've seen a regular 20 gallon go from $20-40.

same here..it depends where your shopping....if you get one from a chain store sometimes it will be less than if you buy it from the lfs. my lfs is expensive on tanks and stands, they mark stuff up so they can make a profit and stay in business.

My 20g glass cost about $30 at my LFS. Acrylic is usually alot more...

I just bought a 20g from someone on here with tons of extra stuff for 20$. It seems to be tank selling season, keep your eyes out :idea2:

20 bucks, if you got room i think 40 gallon breeders are a great size without costing too much. those are 40 dollars at the place i go to i can get it cheaper if i want to drive though.
