just discussing python's in another thread and got me thinking.

Does prime completely disipate into the air when it's done its thing to the chlorine and ammonia? what about if there is extra prime still floating around after everything is taken care of?

Reason i ask is because seachem's Prime (and few other brands) explicitly say that when adding water directly to the tank (ie through a python) you should dose for the entire tank. If it sticks around then it will keep building up until it HAS to cause problems. heck even too much water is harmful to fish (RO water can be argued to be too pure for fish, orrr .. if you force a guppy into the bottom of the 30-50 ft water column its swim blatter would be crushed and it would die eventually)

hmm ... on another note. when i get independantly wealthy. im going to set up a 2500G tank full of guppies!!! ...whooh scuba swim with the guppies and hand feed them .. talking about absurdity of the mundane.
