Hi All,
got a great deal on the 26ft Rena heating cable. I'm goign to be installing it over the weekend and will basically be gutting my 100g (been cycling for a couple of weeks).
Should I cover the heating cable in a layer of sand? If so what type of sand?
My LFS told me my mixture of laterite and fine pea gravel would be ok to go straight onto the cable but i wanted to check.
