Hello everyone, this is my first post here! :hi:
I was wondering if anyone had some tips for how do get good pictures of your fish. I haven't had good luck with it at all, as the flash bounces off the glass and not using the flash results in a cloudy, dark picture. Any suggestions?

I have a Nikon N65 (not digiital) that does a great job, even with the flash. If I take pics at an angle to the glass or take a piece of heavy paper and deflect the flash up a bit, i get very sharp and bright pics. I'm sure you could do similar techniques with digital cameras as well. Good luck!!!

Also try putting more light over the tank, I have planted tanks and I doubled the light I had on the tank to get enought light to take the picture that is my avatar without useing flash.
The absolute best would be to have an external flash driven by the camera that lights from above as well as at an angle on the front.

Turn down all the external lights in the room. Adding light from above will help with some fish, especially those that are more active. CLEAN glass. Inside and out! You'd be surprised how much difference this will make. Than, plan on taking many, many pics to get 1-2 worth keeping.
