Hi, im new to saltwater tanks, but ill be setting one up in about 2 weeks, once I move my FW fish out of it. The tank is 30 gallons. I want this to be a colorful as possible, and I was wondering what you would reccomend. I already plan on two clownfish, and one scooter blenny, but I dont know what else to go with. Thanks for the imput. By the way, It will be Fish only with live rock, I should have about 45 lbs of it.

Hi I like you thought how cool the scooters looked, so I got two for my tank (TRIGON 350 Litre), 3 weeks to day almost they both died.

After some investigation(which I should have done first) I discovered that they probably starved to death, because they feed on copepods hopefully which live on the live rock of an established tank, but probably not on/in enough supply in a new tank.

I really should not have been sold them as the store knew I was a new reefer. I have noticed that the member of staff has left and they have not stocked them again since, which is probably the best outcome.

Dottybacks are great for small tanks. Hardy, colorful. Some species are more aggressive than others. Orchids are probably the most mellow, and are pretty easy to find.
