Over the past couple years, I've posted requests for those that prayed to pray for my mom.

She passed away Saturday morning. I'd just like to thank those that kept her in their thoughts. She suffered a great deal for two years.

I'm thankful she no longer has to deal with the pain anymore, but I miss her.

She lived her life to the fullest, did what ever she possibly could to make other people happy, no matter how much pain she was in.

Cheers to my mom.

Thanks,

Lila

I offer my deepest sympathies.

Dang Lila.... my deepest sympathies too. I know she's been sick for a while and you feel like maybe you were prepared in some way but I know that as much as you feel you are, nothing hurts more when they do pass on. Like you said though, thankfully she is not dealing with the pain anymore and is instead looking down upon you, smiling wide. I'm here for you, girl, if need be.... you know that. I know you're hurting and that you miss her terribly and for that I am sorry.... as you know, the memories start filling in shortly and you will be able to think of her once again without the tears but instead warm smiles.... {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}

I am sorry for your loss Lila. We all need to look at loss this way, her suffering is finally over and she has now moved on to a much better place, where she can watch over you and the rest of your family. I wish you and your family all the best.

Thanks guys. I found it appropriate to share this because of the many that prayed for her.

There are many fond memories, one of me and her that Father shared at the funeral.

I know it's hard to think of what to say. I didn't know how to respond to the condolences. What do you say when people ask, "how are you?" at the funeral home? Then again, I know they don't know what to say either. It's a rough thing to deal with on both sides.

Thanks.

Lila

My deepest sympathies Lila. I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Her pain is gone, but that does not make your loss any less....
