Eclipse Sytem Lighting

I tried to search the forum but I didn't find the answer. I have an eclipse 12 system, I want to know how good is the lighting in this system (for everything), for now I only have LR but eventually I want to get corals (nano-reef). If the bulb is not that good, can I get a better one for this hood? or What is my best option (I would like to keep the hood but not necessary)?
Is moon light necessary?

I also would like opinions on other parts this system, like the filter or anything.
