I love the color of these Vieja Guttulatus. They started carving out territory about thirty minutes after they were out of the bag.

those viejas are pretty. how big do they get? I wonder how they would behave in a planted tank.

They can get fairly large. I wouldn't put them in a planted aquarium. I have seen a tank full go through an entire head of red lettuce in an evening. I'm sure they would know the difference between the lettuce and your plants. ;)
