Today in the Fishroom ~ 08/21/05

Some quick shots of some new fish:

This was on my short list. Young male H. Carpinte "Turquoise". Still a little shy.




I love the color of these Vieja Guttulatus. They started carving out territory about thirty minutes after they were out of the bag.





Not much too look at now, but I can't wait till I get a pair out of these H. Minckleyi.

They can get fairly large. I wouldn't put them in a planted aquarium. I have seen a tank full go through an entire head of red lettuce in an evening. I'm sure they would know the difference between the lettuce and your plants.
