Q on kh Buffer

That is a chemical impossibility !!!
Kh is alkalinity is buffer etc.
The bigger question is why would you worry about it? Fish cannot read or tell PH. an increase in solids is something they can read, but will adapt to in virtually all cases. So either way, if you wish to increase your Kh to make a more stable environment, then do it slowly, and let your fish adapt to the changes then keep your fish happily ever after with the water parrameters you end up at.
