I am looking to aquire some common ramshorn snails to feed my dwarf puffers.

I have common pond snails growing but I underestimated the amount the puffers would need. I have also started a daphnia magna culture which they like.

I would like to get some ramshorn for food diversity (in case i pick up some sort of pond snail blight or something) and mainly for something different to look at.

I would like red if possible, again just for the eyecandy, but im sure the browns will be eaten just fine. a mixture would work also since I found some information on how to clarify the red shells. Basically keep culling the brown shells until the survivors shells lighten to cherry red.

I will take as many as you are willing to scrape up :) on the order of a hundred or more would be nice.

I'll take big small whatever. if they are too big i can wait for them to breed. to small i can wait to grow. I just don't want to deplete my pond snails until i get a good solid backstock of snails going.

I Have some java moss and anacharis/elodia i could trade for shipping. I can treat them with potassium permanganate if you wish them cleaned good before shipping. I might just put the powder and instructions in the package since it might not be a good idea to stress the plants before shipping.

I can also paypal you for shipping(and maybe a little extra for your trouble) if you don't see anything your interested in trading.

PM me with your offer and I will give you my info.

My puffers will thank you when they get thier first full meal in weeks :)
