I assume the LED lights don't do anything for plants.

Nothing that would really help because plants need the light at their leaves.
thanks Kas, that's true.
but... I was talking about the aquatic plants... their leaves are under the water... :dive2:

So like lights that are in the water, beside the plant?
Right, that's what I am looking for, because there isnt really any way to get light in from above. Its for the tank with the houseplants on top.

All I can find are those LED ones. But are you sure that the plant will survive?

But will blue do the tick. I wonder if you could change the bulb.

Thats what I was thinking. they say to throw away when its done and not to change the bulb. but if they can do it in blue why not other spectrum?

sorry to change the subject, but...are there decorative color lighting that can be put underwater like to make a cool bubblewall look?
Thanks
short answer is yes. There is a set, though somewhat expensive in my opinion of led and lasers that can be used. miraclebeam or something to that effect is the name. check online stores and you'll see what I mean
