How long can fish last without food? Whenever I am gone for 2 days I just leve my fish and don't have anyone feed them. I worry. I know I shouldn't but I do. Is that all right to leave them for 2-3 days without food? And how long is TOO long?

2-3 days of fasting is no problem for the fishes that you have listed in your signature. In fact, a week wouldn't pose a problem, either.

Some fish need to be fed at least daily (very young fry), while some fish can go for years without food (lungfish). It depends on the fish and its age, really.

My fish (mostly cories) have gone 8 days without being fed while I was away with no ill effects. I wouldn't do this to young fish or fry, but for most adult fish I figure it's ok. I'd rather that than trusting my fish to someone who doesn't know what they're doing and feeds way too much. Two days should be no problem at all.

It's not like they aren't eating anything, either. They eat things that are in the tank.
