hey
just wnated to make a thread where people can pot their favorite artists. there are so many and cds are so expensive that i have no idea what to buy. lately ive been tripping on black eyed peas and no doubt. anyone bought anything good lately?

i know its legal and i do but my concience tells me that it comes to stealing . and its not fair to the artists. did you know that simple plan from montreal live in a crappy appartment and dont eat 3 meals a day?the music companies bleed them dry so i will try to be fair in the future

I get my share of legal of legal music. In fact out of XMs huge music lab, some has to be illegal.

early no doubt is really good (No Doubt and Beacon Street)...then they sold out bad after those two....anyway
metallica, rx bandits, rammstein, mudvayne, megadeth, sublime, dream theater...the list goes on...

There's some kind of law that requires a certain percentage (I do not know it, probably less than 1%) must be obtained illegally. This is from an interview with XMs Director of Music.

Do you have a link to the article? I just find it hard to believe that there is a law requiring the illegal use of music. Seems kind of contradictory for a law.

I like too many bands to have a favorite...but i've been listening to my Los Lobos Cds alot lately....really good, eccletic band...always enjoyable...very under rated, in my opinion..
P.S. Kas...you're a nut...you are hallucinating about the law requiring a percentage of illegal music on XM...please, adjust your meds immediately, for all our sakes....
P.P.S Kas...even if you do find the article...I will not believe you...
