Can I make money from my site?

maybe you could sell some advertising space ..or offer to your web host advertising in exchange for "free rent"

1000 page views a day wont make you much, but like judgemax says, it may pay for some of the hosting fees. I would give it a shot.

Google Adsense

Adsense is OK, but depending if your site is an Ecommerce site, its not a good idea.

Google looks at your page and puts the same topic type stuff in the ads as what the site is about.

Also, they dont send you money until you collect $100 in clicks. Which takes a LONG time.

The trick is also to get users to actually click an ad.

And... You cant just sit there clicking your own ads. If you click it so many times a month, (The number is low... like 10) google will terminate your account.

I wouldnt go for it, I would rather look at a clean ad free site than one with ads on it that will never generate money.
