My torquiose severums spawned a couple of weeks ago. The eggs successfully hatched. After a few days they were free swimming. I left them with their mom for several days. She was a good mom, always kept an eye on them etc... but then their numbers started to decrease. I moved them to another tank where they swim in the net basket and fed them with Hikari's First bites. Is this food approprate to them? I was told that hatched brine shrimp is too big for them. What would you recommend? They are only 3-4 mm long.

If the First Bites is too big for them, what about liquid fry food? Or, if you want them to have infusoria to eat, why not try some live plants in the tank?

whenever my swordtails have babies, i feed the fry my regular flake food.(i use Tetramin). I just crumble up the pieces in my hand to get them very, very small. feed very little, but feed many times a day
