I found babies in my tank yesterday but I am not sure which fish had them.
I think the best guess I have is that they are either convict babies or half convict half parrot cichlid babies.
Both the Parrot fish and the convicts are acting weird..... normally not this aggressive. The male convict is being really aggressive to all the other ciclids in the tank. The only fish he allows on his side of the tank where the nest is, is the female convict and the parrot fish. I heard it was possible for parrot cichlids to breed with convicts.
I took the babies out of the tank and put them in a small one gallon tank until they get big enough for a 10 gallon. Once they are much bigger they will eventually go back into the 55 gallon.
I'm SO excited!!!!! Pics will come later, they are too small for my camera now.
