Tell me what you think:

25gal

ammonia: 0
nitrite: trace amounts
nitrate: 10

Fish:
1 Pear Gourami
4 zebra danio
3 cherry barbs
2 black skirt tetra
2 mollies
4 corys
1 guppy

I didn't plan on the cherry barbs or the black skirts originaly but gf really wanted them. Right now the tank is fine but I fear down the road it might get crowded so I have been thinking of getting a 10-15 gallon to move the guppy and tetras to and maybe the barbs if needed

IMO, I think you are ok....make sure your filtration is moving the water volume 5 times or more an hour and keep up with your water changes...enjoy

I would not add any more fish, and make sure you keep up on water changes, at least 25% a week. If the tank is cycled you should not have any nitrite showing, so you may be overfeeding or not doing water changes enough ;)

Your fish load is fine, but I am concern that you have traces of nitrite. Maybe your tank is not finished it's cycle yet.

Water changes are needed to remove high levels of nitrates, but again there should/must be no nitrites.

The tank was cycled with bio spira. It is a very small trace my guess may have been a slight overfeed(mollies were giveing me those "I need food eyes" that I know now not to trust ;) ) I have backed off since should drop back down. I try and do about 20% water change a week
