Yes, I'll be in tonight.
BBS- there are as many ways to hatch them as there are people doing the hatching. Basically you mix up some seawater (I do it a gallon at a time). Pour it in a container (most people use upside down soda bottles) and add brine shrimp eggs. Use an airpump, some airline tubing and a section of rigid tubing (sold at lfs) to pump air into the container. the eggs hatch in about 36 hours. Turn off air. BBS will settle to the bottom. Use a turkey baster to suck up the bbs and filter through a fine net. Rinse with tap water and release into tank.
Getting the temp up to 80 degrees really increases your yields. Some people hang the bottle inside the tank, others place a desk lamp next to it. Its a lot of trial and error at first, and takes some creativity to stremline the process. Google "hatching baby brine shrimp" and you will get dozens of web pages offering plans.
The fry won't be ready for them untill you see them emerge from the cave (about 1 week after hatching). But it might take you a few attemps to get the process down. You can feed any premature successes to your other fish. They'll love you for it.
