I added a cave to the 30g long and immediately the larger redfin shark moved in.

Its HIS cave alrite, if the other shark near he drives it off. He doesnt seem to mind the other fish tho and will let the corys rumage thru the sand. Maybe if I give the other shark a cave to call his own they will be happy for a while.

I had a rock in my aquarium and he called that his home. He didn't bother the other fish at all so I think red tailed sharks just like to hide.

Im sure youre rite about that. They appear to be quite territorial too. Poeople are telling me that they are killing the samaller fish. Give em a place to call home and defend and I think they wont be nearly so aggressive.

It should definately help short term, but long term the two sharks most likely won't be able to co-exist. I've been able to keep all my fish happy by having more hiding spots than fish who like to use them, that way if someone gets "evicted" it still has somewhere to go
