Wyoming doesn't have any teams...But, I'm optimistic about the upcoming hockey season! Great sport, glad they are back on the ice.

Oh, wait, next door there is some football team...Did you mean them?!? ;)

No team in particular, just trying to lighten the mood arround here I guess. Never watched much hockey, but good that one of your interests is back. They were on strike for a while right?

Yep--stupid contract negotiations. It's a travesty how much most professional athletes are paid anyway, and then to lose the only 'big' sport for an entire season--sheesh.

But--past playing football as a kid, I've never liked the sport. Actually got DUMPED in college because my then boyfriend discovered I was not dating him because he was on the football team! Sheesh! :D

Never got into hockey but used to love to play football as a kid. Now, I just don't bounce like I used to and I can't figure out why. I have a lots more padding and you'd think that would help!

If only the sports players were required to donate 1/2 thier salary to a good cause.
And It's good you didn't stay with that jerk, no mater who did the dumping.(I will not coment on the "big" )

My heart wasn't broken, believe me. I just thought it was funny that he actually wanted someone who just wanted to be with a football player!

Perhaps he felt that if you were in complete awe you would, shall we say, uh do more?

Awe? For playing football? Does that really happen?

Okay, I know it does. I actually liked his sense of humor, and the fact that he was taller than me.

Oh, should I be cruel and make you try and define that 'more'??

The best reason for a football team is so there is half time for the band to march

Oooh, marching band! I admit it, I was a high school band groupie. Only reason I ever went to home high school football games back then. Of course, my high school had national champs, so I wasn't the only one--much more impressive than the actual game.

LT--I'm saddened that you'd make me walk alone. Sniff....;)

But it's against Buffalo...No offense, but from what I understand, it's almost an insult to lose to Buffalo.

Before anyone gets fired up--Buffalo is my husbands favorite team, we watch all the games that are broadcast out here. He's happy they got a new quarterback, but he will need to learn the ropes before much is expected of him.

Ah Hah! Now the truth comes out! "We watch all the games!"

Well, consider how far away Buffalo is from Cheyenne. There are maybe 2 or 3 games a year broadcast here, since the Denver Broncos are usually given local priority.

Since I typically read during the games, I couldn't tell you squat about most games. :D
