an interesting way of lighting an aquarium

i think leaaving it on continuously wouldnt be so great for fish, but i guess it could go on a timer easily enough.
I think you could have some really pretty effects.
Mostly, I wish I knew if the light would be the kind of light plants need.
because I have the perfect aplication for it if it is *S.

I bought a similar light for my small pond - 10watts - and i used the blue color lense..I lined it up below the small water fall and it looks like the light is traveling up the water fall and shimmering..nice affect. I think the light would be cool in a tank. I always keep at least one or two tanks for silly stuff - my 75g has my collection of antique ceramic tank ornaments - my 20g metal frame tank has air-powered, animated ornaments - ya gotta have a little cheesyness in this hobby! Shouldn't take it too serious! Have fun and let us know how it looks!
