Hey everyone,

Just put some fairly big pieces of driftwood into my tank, all clean, etc. I have some rocks on them right now to hold them down, just wondering how long it usually takes for a piece of driftwood to become soaked and stay on the bottom.

Thanks!

I tried glueing the rocks to the bottom with sealant, alot of them, but there were not enough and they made the wood uneven. The bottoms are very jagged and would be difficult to glue more and have it sit right.

Any other suggestions?

Boiling it in water can help it sink, but ive never tried it, so it may take many attempts before it works.

is it fairly easy to get through the slate with a household drill/power screwdriver?
