I posted earlier about my Dwarf Gouramis very picky appetite and I've now noticed some other strange behavior from him. I have been able to observe him much more now that the weekend has came and I've noticed that he just swims in circles against the glass all day long.
After some research on this board I gathered that he would do OK in a 10 gallon tank, so I didn't hesitate about putting him in there. It is well established, fairly heavily planted, and home to a handful of pygmy cories. He doesn't even seem to notice the cories, none of them are acting strange, and water parameters all seem fine.
Basically, as soon as the lights come on in the morning, he goes straight for the front left corner of the tank and swims in a small up and down circle against the glass.... all day long.... with only a break for air. He doesn't stop until every light in the house has gone out and I'm going to bed.
Should I just take him back or is this a sign of some sort of sickness? I didn't notice any strange behavior from him at the lfs. But in the lfs they had 7-8 of them all together in one tank, and they weren't moving around a whole lot.
