I recently started finding some "things" growing on my live rock. I still can't tell if they are plant or animal, but I think plant. They are light green and cylindrical, up to about 1/2" long and 1/16" wide. They are usually curved (sort of like a cresent moon). They also appear to have fine bristles or hair near their tip. I've attached a picture circling some examples on the live rock - they picture isn't great at this magnification, but you can get the gist of what they look like. Does anybody know what these are, and if so, are they good or bad for my tank?
