Ok, I had a fun time this weekend but the actual day off (Labor Day) sucked for me. What'd y'all do for this weekend?

Played my violin for about 3 hours....cleaned a fish tank or two....watched "The Incredibles" with my kids...(funny movie).....Umm....went for a bike ride on my daughter's 20inch bike with my 9 year old son (he was on his own bike)...lol...I beat him around the block too...even though my knees kept whacking me in the chin every time I came around with the peddle ! Had spaghetti for dinner.....ice cream for dessert.....now it's time for night night....back to school tomorrow...ho hum... :(

I started getting terrible pains in my belly at about 2:30am.
Ended up going to the emergency room at about 6:30.
After about the first hour at the Hospital they shot me up with Morphine, and that felt really good.
So come to find out my gall bladder has to come out, they want to do the operation sometime in the next two weeks,on an outpatient basis.
So needless to say my Labor Day sucked big time also.

Wow..not much fun being had here.
I sewed on marching band uniform parts that need altered...and my kids aren't even in band anymore. I made the mistake of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and got sucked in. I'm rather pissed about it, and wonder what their plan was for these kids if I hadn't showed up :duh:

I flew back to Okie from California on Friday morning and got back late Saturday night (Okie time). I then spent Sunday and Monday stuck inside because Typhoon Nabi was coming through here. Talk about boring. At least I didn't lose power or my cable. At least it is over now.

My wife and I painted the baby's room and installed a chair rail all weekend. I'm glad we did it but its a shame we spent such a beautiful weekend inside.

Cyberbeer, I've had mine out too. The hardest part was when my then 2 year old daughter had to learn I couldn't carry her and she couldn't climb on me. On the pain before surgery, yeah, That nurse who got me pain meds was, in my opinion an ANGEL! That pain is worse than childbirth.

Oh yeah, labor day! Made a necklace, watched movies, let kids play outside between rainshowers. :)

We are. I'm very excited and glad that pink won't enter our color scheme (only because I think its over used). These colors are in the crib set we have.

We stayed home, and worked around the house. Didn't get anything big done, just tidied up the garage, moved dirt around in the backyard in preparation for putting in grass next spring, cleaned the house up. But, a lot of that is because the remaining weekends this month are really busy!

I have fun every weekend. Its what thier for, this one just hapened to be 1 day longer. Monday I went to rasputin's record store, then all you can eat at the olive garden. Tested my friends new t-case(fron2:1 to 3.15:1)in his Scout, and got to repair a tire using bubble gum and some bailing wire (I love a good trail fix!!!). I had a chance to see an old (girl)friend and we went to pizza together. I can say my weekend deffinately didn't suck. Sorry for all your guys' bad day:(

My daughter ended the day like this too...
She had to sign up for the PCAT test, which is the entry exam for pharmacy school. She couldn't get a seat at her college...nor any other ones near. She finally found one another 2 1/2 hours on farther south. This started a whole teary evening of how awful that would be..and she had to be seated by 8am...and if so many people were taking the test at her school how would she ever get in to the pharmaceutical school...she might have to go into chemistry..gasp!
then this am she got up to sign up online for an advisor appointment to schedule next semesters classes...and the site wasn't working. She tried for an hour and a half before she finally left to drive back to campus. I'm trying to get through and sign up for her, but the site still isn't working. I'm sure they don't have enough server space for all the hits they are getting. ANd they have to sign up online..can't do it in person.

Babe, what's up? You okay?

Had some company Saturday night for a bonfire. Went to bed early. Opened the restaurant Sunday morning. Played Euchre that night. Opened the restaurant Monday morning (earlier than Sunday), had company over for dinner and cards that night.

Tonight we have open house at the school. Tomorrow, school starts. :D
