what pets do u have??

what are the pets u have now or u've had experience keeping. aquatic and non-aquatic... i'll start...

i currently have:

1 splendid snakehead (channa lucius)
1 siamese tigerfish (datnioides undecimradiatus)
2 sailfin plecos (pterygoplichthys gibbiceps)
2 spotted plecos (pterygoplichthys joselimaianus)
2 sun/eclipse/golden red-tailed catfish (horabagrus brachysoma)

*the arapaima got me started in this hobby. it's now 4ft long in a pond at a local drug rehab centre where my dad is involved in social/ministry work.

2 moluccan fan shrimp, 1 saltwater crab (noy sure what kind, caught)

1 asian giant pond turtle (hosemis grandis), countless number of asian soft-shelled turtles, countless number of red-ear sliders

2 parakeets

3 generations of dwarf hamsters (10 hamsters in all)

1 spitz (did i get the spelling right? anyway, it's a dog)

that's about all i can think of right now... can't wait to get back and get my own alligator snapper/snappers, breed malayan box turtles, and more fish...

I have just one 10 gal tank...with:
two African Water Frogs,
one Pleco, a Bala Shark,
two Pink Kissing Gouramis,
a small Puffer fish
...these are all very small yet. But I know I need a bigger tank very soon. They do well together. I feed them dried tubiflex worms, frozen brine shrimp and granules. The granules don't cause the water to get cloudy. But they really chow down on the worms and the shrimp. All except the Puffer. It does not seem to eat. I read on another site that Puffers prefer live food. And I am worried that he might take a bite from one of the tankmates. Like he did kinda nip at the little frog when I first introduced him to the tank. But now, it seems the are co-habitating nicely.
I also have an Australian Shepherd, a Manx cat and a Ferret. They all love to play together. The Manx got my catfish, I think he jumped out of the tank when I was cleaning. (I think he jumped out...may be the cat put her paw in and got him!) But she was playing with him when I saw her, and it was too late.

Yes finally, unfortunately the father got spooked by the two new breeders and I lost some of the pups to him . But we still managed to get 6 pups healthy and happy.
