View Full Version : anyone ever own sony ericson cell phone?
Considering giving up many years of having different nokias to switch to sony. The specific model im looking into is the T637. Anybody ever own a sony cell? any compliants?

Sony ericsons sucks...go with a mini samsung flip phone...there the best ive delt with thats affordable, and i been through most nokias and sonys. But the new nokias are looking nice with alot of good fetures, but i still cant afford no $200 phone, ITS JUST A FRIGGEN PHONE! haha.
Dont waste your time with a sonyericson, their too small and the directional button in the middle always sends you to the internet if pressed wrong and hard to conroll and buttons are too small. Quality is great, but they got some bad signals too.
well i got a local cell phone company so im limited to what phones i can pick. the only other phones they have are expensive. heck this sony one is on sale for $100. the only other phones that i would get is a nokia 6102 and the nokia 6230 but those are $130. i wont buy a cell phone anymore unless i can get a usb cord to upload stuff to it. so i dont worry about the internet and have the cell company disable and prevent me from using it.
As far as buttons being small and the phone being small, im used to it. only becomes a problem when im drunk and cant see the phone but then i shouldnt really be talking to people at that point either( probally really annoying ). And about the reception, i live in the outskirts of cincinnati so i dont get too good of service to begin with unless im in the city, so im used to not having the best service.

ohh, i like flip phones better, cause its more protected from being damaged and all haha, where the other ones there screens can get scratched and all.
ive dropped my nokia's constantly and never really had too much of a problem with them breaking or being damaged. Rarely even have them get a decent scratch. I did like the idea of having a flipphone as to why i was looking in the nokia 6102. but it seems like you can customize the sony ones alot more than nokia's.

If you can afford it get a razor...I saved up for one and its the best phone I've ever had. It was 150 bucks though.
My friend has an Ericson and I cant ever get a good connection. I like Motorola in general, I've had two Motos and they have done great for me.

i agree cingular has a new razor phone amazing recpetion and it fits just about anywhere loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it

I had the T300 and T610...the 610 was awesome with camera, IrDa, BT and great connection (T-Mobile). Never had any problems with them and I did drop it more than my fare share of times. The menus are perfect and great for security\privacy. I suggest you go for it...look at http://www.esato.com and http://www.myt610.net...

Motorolla has always been my choice. If they survived WWII they can survive anything (like a midnight swim....whoops). The razors are kinda cool, now they have them in black too.
i checked out those razrs today they didnt look as good in person as in the pictures, but still nice. I decided to forget the sony since it seemed very poorly designed. Ill stick with nokia till i get some more money :)

yeah tje razors were like 500? or somthing like that when they first came out, now they droped down to 150..CRAZY!
