I have lost two guppies in the last two days. One Male One Female. I examined them there were no marks or injuries. Does anyone have any idea what this could be.

I am starting to get a little frusrated with Guppies it seems they are a 50/50 Gamble.

Any suggestions would be great.

I think i got my problem working out. After many test I found out that my Nitrate was at a toxic level. I did a 75% Change and I already see inprovements to the tank. I am one of those cant wait to get fish in kinda guy and I payed for my lack of pateince. I also balanced out my PH which was high. I have 4 Mollys Two Guppies 6 Neons and 2 Swordtails. I am going to watch my tank very carfully and see what happens from here. I cant say I am sad because of this problem I now have a much better knowlege of Aquariums.

The tank is a 20G
I PH was 7.8 Range
Nitrate was 3.2 Range
Harness was 120
No Amonia (sp?)

After I did a water change and let it run Nitrate was a lot lower in the 0.5 Range.

After I did the water Change The fish seemed to be more active. I notice some of my fish are stressed.. I hope the can ride it out.

my plants are Flourishing Very Green and healthy.

I also realize i have too many fish and can be causing my Water Levels to flucuate.. But I think I will be ok...

Guys I cant thank you enough for all your help. YOU HAVE MADE MY AQUARIUM A BETTER PLACE :)

So after doing my 75% water change, thinking my fish would be ok. This morning I go check out my Tank my female swordtail is dead... I have no idea what it could be. I was thinking maybe stress from the water change??
Can a fish die easily from a temp change over night?...I am thinking maybe my temp changes to often at night due to my AC... But i always make sure it is steady
Any Help Would be great at thiis point..
Thanks guys/girls.

If you don't have a heater and the temp. in the tank varys more than a couple of degrees, you need a heater. It might not have caused the death, but temp. fluctuations are very stressful for the fish. Your ph is fine at what it is, changing it with chemicals is almost always a bad idea, they do not last long term, it changes again everytime you do a water change, and a fluctuating sudden change in ph is also very stressful for fish. I would guess that may have been the cause of your most recent fish death. Water changes are good for the fish, even a large one, as long as the temp. is the same and the ph is very close.
