I have a new tank with a black ghost, 2 zebra danio, a cherry barb and a snail. I got ick in my tank about a week ago, but ive been treating it and everyone seems to be ok now. I just want to know how long i should wait before i add any new fish to my tank. I had planned on waiting about two weeks after i stopped treating them. Any advice?

Do you need help on the ich? I can give you some other treatments if the one you use doesnt work.
We will also need more info..tank size?

I dont want to be the bearer of bad news but, the 10g is WAY to small for the BGK. I have mine in a 75g right now and that eventually will be a close fit. They get to be about 19" long. I know its prob really small right now because thats usually the only way to buy them and its kinda deceiving because most people dont realize how big they really get. mine has grown almost two inches and I have had him for about 3 months. Also, the other fish in that tank will start to look awfully appetizing for it as well. they have huge mouths and are very fast and can and will eat other fish. I hope you kep the BGK and purchase a bigger tank, it is truly a remarkable fish! I hope the ich gets cleared up and thats good that you were only giving the 1/2 treatment. Good luck and sorry

I have roughly tripple the needed filtration I need and do lots of water changes and feed all frozen food and have a big tank so mine may grow a little faster than normal because everything it has is like perfect for it.

Id say they 2x their size every year. In the best conditions.
