I just thought I would share this, I watched this movie 156 times in the summer when I was about 13 years old, I knew every word and sound from the movie , it was non-stop laughs right up until the last time ,the day I had to go back to school(Homework assignments undone ofcorse) .
Anyone else done something stupid like this out there(actually I thought it was quite funny thinking of it the other day) .
Lol Ash.....I bought that movie after watching it with the kids on t.v.....not realizing that the tv version we saw had been the cut version. When I put the video in it wasnt' too long into the show when I banded it from viewing....lol....my youngest was only about 6 at the time.
It's a hilarious show for the more mature audience. My favorite character is Dot Matrix.....lol......though Mel is pretty good as Yogurt. (May da Shwartz be wid ya)
I can say I've done some dumb things in the past....and probably present as well....lol....dumbest thing to date..........backing out of the garage with the back door open.....almost took the whole darn thing right off !! I felt really stupid about that right up until the time about a year later.......when my husband did the same damb thing !!!!!

When I was younger I remember watching Goonies 8 times at the "Dollar" Movies. Now I think - what a waste of time! But, now I also own the movie, so . . . :)
Dumb? I once locked my keys in my GMC truck at the GMC dealership while they were doing a commercial. Even the guys who worked there couldn't get the truck open. I was there on business so not only was I ticking off the owner by wasting his commercial time(my truck was in the shot) but I was also missing work! One of the guys finally got it open with a slimjim that he wasn't technically supposed to have. Oooops!

Well, I let the water quality and the health of my fish decide how they are doing, I am more of an independant type of person that likes to make his own decisions, not really looking for a big brother to help me out. I had aquariums back in the 70s when 20 gallon was considered a good size. I am just here to share a common intrest, and read about other peoples experiences.
Good for you Bob !
Now everyone leave him alone...... ;)

I've Sen the original Star Wars trilogy, i dunno, all three movies combined probably 700 or more times. Just a big fan. Used to watch it nearly everyday in college. Rather than listening to a CD or something, I just watched Star Wars.

My wife might have agreed, until i cleaned out the spare room, which used to house my Star Wars collection of toys, comics, books, Legos, posters, cels, etc. o make the nursery for my daughter. Star Wars is all in storage and my life centers entirely on my kids now it seems. Still, One hell of a collection!

It's interesting that no one has mentioned the Harry Potter series. We do enjoy watching those..and reading the books, all 4 of us. the movies we have actually gone to the theater to see are the Harry Potter ones, the LOTR ones, and the Star War ones. And we've bought them all as they have come out on DVD.
Our kids got us into the Harry Potter stuff. I've always picked up and read what the kids were reading just to check things out, and got hooked.

I didn't have too many of the toys, but Star Wars is turned on quite often as an attempt to entertain the kids without having to watch "My Little Pony" again. Whoever made that movie should be shot. It's like taking a syringe full of sugar directly to your heart while being hypmotized, Like, really! :duh:   :duh:
