Purple clowns

A friend of mine came up to me with an article last month on someone who is doing color morphs on clownfish. They are coming up with some wild purple and yellow clowns using mostly maroon clowns to achieve this. Has anybody else seen these fish?

yeah, slip. i saw that a few months ago. it was supposed to be an insight into where the saltwater hobby will be in 50 years. i don't think that we are at that level yet. however, we are hybridizing marine fish. :mad: :rolleyes:

There are a few at my LFS, or at least there were.

You do mean yellow instead of orange or am i missing something.
