how do your fish like their ph?

i'm only asking 'cuz ours stays high at around 8:eek: , but our fish don't seem to care-they're always bouncing arouond. Except for our guppy- he just stays in one corner, mostly. I think It's because all the other fish are bigger than him and he has no friends his size, since the other guppy died about a month ago. btw, I have mollies, danios, swordtails, ae's and a loach besides.

your mollies and swordtails prefer it slightly alkaline, your danio shouldn't mind too much not sure about the loach, what sort is it? it's much more important to have a stable pH than any specific value...unless you have water thats really alkaline/acidic i suppose. 8 is quite high but should be fine if stable
