I know that the chance of keeping ADF eggs/babies (or even getting a successful breeding) aren't very good, but one of my ADFs (I have three and one Betta in a 10 gal with a couple live plants and mostly fake plants), the one I know is male because he sings a lot, has latched onto one of my other frogs by the waist and has held her/him hostage for the last at least hour or so. Either he's committing murder or she's very happy because her little back legs are twitching like crazy. Am I intruding on a private moment?
I turned off the filter because I don't know if it'll suck up the eggs. I'll turn it back on once I get some kind of guidance.
I removed my betta and kept the lonely frog (who is madly swimming around and creeping around the tank) in there.
My poor betta is sitting in an unfiltered bowl right now until I can figure out what to do with him. I can stick him in my 12 gal planted with 4 danios, but I'm just separating him for a short while until I figure things out, so I'd like to figure it out asap.
please help! I'd post a picture, but I'm afraid the camera eye will disturb them. Thanks for the help in advance.
