Well.... iam finally settled in my new dorm room at Northern College in South Porcupine Ontario.

The drive took 9 hours (and 600km) from home. my entire move was around bringing two of ym three fish tanks.

MY 10 Gallon goldfish tank
and 30 gallon community.

useing many many buckets, i took half of the water from each tank. placed it in buckets. I moved the fish into those buckets. I then ran DC-AC inverter to the tarilor where the fish would travel. I plugged into two filters and hoped for the best. I made frequent stops to check on the fish.

In total, i lost the following during the trip

4 Cardinal Tetras
1 BRissle Nose Pleco

Once i was moved in, in one day i lost

1 Clown Pleco

In total, i think it went well. I did expect tot loose some in teh travel. BUT, the resadance coordinater is amazed that i brought a 30 gallon and 10 gallon tank with me. She siad next year, she is going to put a size limit on the tanks allowed. :P

theres a apt here that gets rented out to college students that has a huge tv ...like a 72 inch i think and a 150 gallon tank that stay here cause no body wants to take then down the steps...lol so every year the renters , a realestate group, have to ask the new occupants if they want the tank and tv, cause if not then whoever had the place before has to pay to have them hauled to the dump! ..so it gets passed along to the next student! ..i was tempted to move in and rent just to take the tank and tv ...lol but any way i am glad that your move went so well! and i wonder why they think a thirty is to large? after thirty i could see ..like a 55 or larger but hey a thirty is actually little in the real scheme of life! its not like you took debra marks tank or ash davids! (they both have massive tanks!, like thousands of gallons)
