Can anyone recommend an American online dealer of bogwood for the aquarium? My Google searches are turning up sales from Europe (too much $ s&h).

Does anyone have a great or terrible experience with aquariumdriftwood.com?

where could I get giant mangrove roots like in this aquarium: here ?

The main part of this effect has been achieved by using brass screws to attach real twisted vines to flat pieces of slate, placed beneath the substrate, so that they take on the appearance of mangrove roots growing down into the water.
I should read more. Wouldn't twisted vines rot? Do you do that by sealing them?

Update: I ended up buying driftwood & some plants at aquariumdriftwood.com.

their products are incredible & the price is right. Unfortunately the size of the driftwood is unclear. They have s, m, l, xl & super & they recommend which size is right for your tank. The first piece was too small so I got a second to compensate. The second was huge, probably too big for most peoples taste. the wood looks great & it arrives wet so it's ready to go. The plants I got are great too. Be warned they only ship mondays & a few things in my order were out of stock.

Thanks for letting us know. I contemplated buying from them b4 but didn't like the size differentiation either.

I'm glad to hear from someone who ordered from them, I have been looking at plants and driftwood myself and have been to sooooo many sites my eyes are crossing!! My husband wanted to know if I had a boyfriend on line or something LOL, anyway of all the places I've been thier prices and shipping are the lowest I could find, they don't have such a big choice on plants but for what I want it would work, at other sites I was looking at around $30-$40 in plants then the driftwood and usually the shipping was around $27.00, at aquariumdriftwood.com the price for shipping and everything would be around $40.00!! I was a little worried because of the price diff, but now that you said they were good to you I think I may order through them. Also at some of the other sites you had to pay separate shipping for the plants and anything else you would want, you couldn't pay for them in the same payment!

go to petsolutions.com they are the cheapest ive ever seen anywhere and they are good products. after your first order the next one is 10 or 15% off so thats cool. I havent found anywhere that is cheaper then them. Go there! :)
