Hi,

I want to setup a planted tank for balloon mollies with several african dwarf frogs in there with them. Will the mollies be happy in a fully fresh water tank? Or would the frogs be okay with slightly brackish water for the mollies? What are everyones thoughts?

Thanks
Nate

Mollies will be fine in fully freshwater, just make sure when you get them from the pet store they are in freshwater. I don't know about the frogs and salt, but my guess would be they wouldn't like it.

Mollies don't need salt. They do best with hard water--the salt sort of gives the same effect. The frogs will not tolerate salt, but will be fine with hard water.
