Trochus snails

Swimfins

This is as good as it gets.
I've got 2 trochus snails and one is hugging the liverock and the other on the sand bottom. I haven't seen them move in 12 hours. Is something wrong?
All parameters are good. PH8.3 alk. 9dkh o amonia o nitrites just detectable nitrate. Fish and shrimp are all eating and appear fine.

How old is the tank?
Give them some time, they may move in the next few hours.

How did you acclimate them? I've read that snails are actually very delicate, they either need to be dripped for an hour or more or should be placed above the waterline and allowed to acclimate themselves to the salinity, entering the water on their own.
I bought two trochus, dripped them for ages, and still lost one. It sat on the LR, periodically cleaning a little patch and then resting, didn't move for ages and eventually died. The other was up and running after a few days, but still took some time to 'perk up' after being introduced to the tank.
If they're not moving at all, I'd make sure they're still alive - if they are, I don't think there's much you can do to help other than just watch and wait. FWIW snails do rest/sleep periodically, but I've never seen mine imobile for more than a few hours at a time.

Ok thanks a bunch. Well, one is definatey dead. The other has some suction so I presume he's alive. I feel his grip when I try to move him. I've removed the dead one this morning. The tank will be 3 months old on Sept 26th. Everything else is ok.
I'll try again. I floated them for 20 mins. and then aded water to the bag for 30 mins or so and then put them in,they seemed ok for the first day but slowed down the next. I hate when this happens.
