Ahh, it has been some time since I have had the pleasure of browsing these threads.

The hobby has taken a back seat for over a year now, and the tanks are overgrown with plants fighting for every smidge of substrate.

I have a particular 10g that is just swamped with moneywort, it's been neglected and left to flower for months on end, growing out of the top of a homegrown betta/black molly tank. Vals growing anywhere and everywhere in a 110XH from bottom to top with some homegrown angelfish and an LDA 033. Java moss smothering a 10g with german bred Ameca splendens and a lone african mouth brooder from a fish auction.

Any suggestions where to start? ;-)

Ahh... it's good to be back!

Glad to see some familiar faces still floating around here. :)

Went to town on the 10g, cutting off around 1/3 to 1/2 a 5gal bucket of moneywort (bacopia sp.) that was growing over the rim and down the outside of the tank.

If anyone wants moneywort, vals or java moss, pm me and shipping is on the house. Too much to let goto waste.

Was happy to find my marimo ball still altive under the moneywort, totally forgot about that thing. Tidiest algae I've ever met!
