Hello, I recently bought a ocellaris clownfish and I am not experienced enough yet to house a host anemone. I was wondering if the clownfish will host a fake anemone.

I have seen them host in Xenia and that might be your option but clowns do not need a host to feel comfortable in a tank. So you will be fine. Actually if you get a tomato clown, they will be the boss of the tank.

Never mind. It hosted the fake anemone right away. Its kind of cool.
