Ive always Heard of snails climbing out and being found later on the ground beside the tank....well i noticed my snail was missing yesterday, but i looked around and thought he might just be under the rocks, but i rearranged the rocks just now and found him beside the tank after discovering his esacpe after not finding him inside the tank....just thought id share, now he is under observation to see if he made it, my hope are high but my expectations low. :huh:

what kind of snail is it? do you have any others of the same kind?

Very neat... I previously had a resident pet blue crawfish. He would manage to escape the upstairs aquarium, walk on carpet for about 15 feet before traversing the staircase. More than once I had found him on the floor, and twice I had found him at the bottom of the steps.
Life's little wonders.
