Ghosts of New Orleans (video)

ghost hunters just did a thing on a plantation in new orleans ...thats one place i would love to go, the culture ..the food the mystery ...i think my next non-kid vacation i want to go there...i want to go through the bayous(sp) as well..just experiance it all!

ghost hunters just did a show on an old hospital in batavia new york. My wife is going with her brother to a lock in that they are having in nov. I can't go cause I have to work. And I work nights, suxs but pays the bills.

I'm not surprised.......New Orleans is not a good place....it's a place where people are encouraged to overendulge in worldly behavior. A friend of mine and her husband went down there once for mardi gras...and she said she'll never go back. Women pulling up thier shirts..and doing just about anything else...just for a handful of cheap plastic beads. All sorts of bad and wicked behavior which is greatly celebrated in that culture. Sort of like Rome, in it's last days...

Now some of you fellas may jokingly make some "fun" comments about wanting to be there for that......but to be serious....can you honestly say that kind of behavior is a good thing? You may want to spend a brief moment or two with one of those girls, but would you ever want to marry one of them ??? Geee....why not ?

So, no big surprise when people run across evil presences while down there. I don't believe that what they are seeing or feeling are "ghost" of people who were once alive...but rather demons. Places like that attract those sorts of things...like sugar attracts flies.

Time to find the site about ghosts on WWII ships... Arlington cemetary, etc.. ;)

i agree emg! always wanted to go new orleans ..but not during the mardi gras....i want to see it in its natural state ...when life is "normal" there ,,they do some awesome tours that i have seen televised and the travel channel ..so someday ..i will end up there!

There goes another good old American tradition... Madis Gras...
I never went, but wanted to visit during that time, unlike Key West and their 'fethstival'. I 'choose' not to be there. It's nice to have freedom of choice, and still let others have their freedoms.

I choose not to condemn Duval Street and Bourbon Street, or the city of Las Vegas.

I have a choice, I'm an American.

;)
