So what are the benifets of lunar lights? I have botias, tetras, cats, and a black ghost knife. I would am most concerned with the ghost knife since they are strictly nocturnal.
What does a lunar lit tank look like? Is it very dark with just the shadows of the fish being seen? Is it an attractive looking lighting? I'm am curious because my 60g is in my bedroom and would enjoy night time viewing from the piecefull, quiet light. But, if it's too bright I don't want it.

It's a light that is supposed to mimmick moonlight. I'm not real familiar with it myself but it's supposed to aid in creating a more natural envirnment for the fish along with providing night time viewing. I read that some fish prefer the moonlight for spawning...
I'm surious of how bright it is.
www.liveaquaria.com sells stand along LED lunar lights for $17. It's good enough for 24" of width, they sell links (another light that attaches to the main) for $12.
