woke up this morning to a terrible gurgling/humming noise. without ever hearing it before, i knew what that sound was. ran into the living room - the overflow on my 50 was clogged and full of water, and the pump was running on air. thankfully the amount of water in the sump was only enough to fill the overflow and stay below the sides of the tank - no spills. . . . keeping my fingers crossed that the pump doesn't die anytime soon.
