I have a 55G tank (est for about 1 year) with a Wisper 60. The fliter is on the right side of my tank (which is about 49 inches in length, 13 inches wide, and 20.5 inches deep). The bottom of the left side always has more debris than the right side. I was wondering if having two Wisper 60's (which are good for up to 60G) is a good thing in a 55G tank? I was thinking, the more filtration the better, but is there a limit to how much? Will i be damaging the tank environment with two filters? please help

i have two filters on mine and it works quite well

I have an established 55G tank with 2 Kissing Guarms, 1 blue paradise Guarm, 1 Bala shark, 2 Clown Loaches, 1 Firemouth Cichlid, 1 Golden Dream Panchax Killifish, 1 Leporinus (i think), 1 Flying Fox, and 2 Plecos. I am planning on transitioning from painted gravel to sand and too add some plants. I was wondering, if i do go with sand, which is what i want to do, do i need to add some kind suppliment substrate such as Flourite (which will defeat my purpose of using sand because the sand will sink to the bottom)? I am planning on adding some micro sword grass and mabey some mid ground plants. I need all the help i can get here guys. any kind of advice is greatl appreciated. As you can see, this is my first post, but i have been reading here for a couple months. thanks

thanks again
