hey guys i've posted this here cuz I wasn't getting any replys in my old thread...the background story is im trying to fight off ich and last night my veil tail angelfish had a lot of white stuff on him...well, fortunately the veil tail angelfish is still alive!! (YAY, thats the good news), the bad news is that my girlfriend said his tail is short now...just his tail not his top and bottom fins, but she said its gone and it looks like someone ate it, and she didnt see it on the ground anywere. im going to all caps anything to make my question stick out, not becuase im yelling! CAN A VEIL TAIL ANGELFISH GROW HIS TAIL BACK?? also...IS A SEPERATE DISEASE RESPONSIBLE FOR EATING MY FISH'S TAIL??...and finally does anyone know if the following method would be a BAD one to follow??

4. Add one teaspoon of salt per gallon.
5. Twelve hours later, add another one teaspoon of salt per gallon.
6. Twelve hours later, add another one teaspoon of salt per gallon.
7. Within 48-60 hours of the second salt dose at 80 degrees, the Ich will be gone.
8. Leave salt in the water for another 3-5 days unless you're worried about your live plants.
9. Remove salt via partial waterchanges. (30-40% at a time if desired).

My old thread is SORRY SORRY SORRY... in general freshwater
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
