Hi!
Some folks were kind enough to give me some suggestions one of which was to post some pics so that members could ID them. I went one step further and invited the aquarium pet shop guy to my house and he was very usefull in Id'ing some of them. He said I have a handful! Which I already know.
I forgot to mention the one outside pond that my brother had. Its actually a huge pond full of Koi, Wels and some really ugly ugly fat fish! I am working on the photos. The Wels and Koi are huge! anywhere from 2 to 4 feet! I thought the biggest one was 3 feet but the ugly ones are bigger and fatter.
I wouldn't stick my hand in there if you paid me! They eat meat and it looks like liver. Its very gross. but.... Thats what they say about sushi right?
Here's a partial list of the 9 aquariums inside:

7 Albino Oscars from 8" to 10"
6 beautiful Tinfoil Barbs w/ Orange fins about 10-12" each
4 Logsuckers about 4 or 5"
4 @11" Goldfish (They live with the albino oscars, but I am changing that
because they each require different types of water temps.
4 Bala Sharks about 10"
11 Rainbow Sharks 2 to 5"
2 hiding catfish (hide in the driftwood at the bottom, hate the light) the Guy
said he thinks they are Pimelodi?? He says that my brother had alot of rare
fish and they are pretty big. I'll Say!
The smaller aquarium 20 gallon (its alittle crowded) has 19 Black Angelfish, 27 fantail guppies, 2 dozen mollies And I still have to figure out the other 9 varieties but I think they are common, neons etc.
The sectional aquariums have betas in them. They eat these teeny tiny little pellets that are sold in a graduated distribution package of sorts.

My brother has alot of Shark catfish, Suckers, Wels and Oscars. They are all BIG BIG BIG! They look pretty happy, ESPECIALLY since I cleaned the POOP filter yesterday. THAT was fun :( the fluval 303,305 and 380
I dont know if they all need heaters. My brother has about 6 heaters in a box in the basement. Perhaps he used them in the winter?
The fish in the pond outside have a bubbler system so it doesn't get ice and I think the fish live on the plants in winter. Or should I give them some meat? or food?

If I get through this year with these guys I think I'll be okay.

Still working on the other fish but this is about a third of them.
Thanks again!
Sar

WOW...you sure do have your hands full there!!! I think you will grow to love the fish. I wonder what the heck the big ugly ones are in the pond *shiver*
What a wonderful loving thing you are doing in your brothers memory by caring for his fish.
I will be looking for your pictures and I wish you the best of luck in this new endeavor. I hope you learn to enjoy this and it would be a good way to still feel close to your brother. I bet he would be pretty proud of you for just trying to learn about them and giving them appropriate care.
Best wishes!!

Probably not a bad idea to consider thinning out your numbers...I know they were your brothers, but you have a heck of a job on your hands...I am sure you wont have too much trouble finding people that will love them as much as your brother did.

Have you figured out/know already how big the tanks are? If not, L x W x H/ 231 is the equation, assuming they are reg. rectangular tanks. He may have intended to move some of these fish once they got bigger, which it sounds like they are huge!! Make sure you put lists of the fish with the tanks to remember what they are  !!
