Hey All,
This the first of probably many questions i will post.
I'm in the process of setting up a new tank for my oscar, salmon catfish & clown loach's. The are currently living in a 2' tank and all seems well, but they are all outgrowing their current tank. Anyway enough of that the new tank I'm getting is a 6'x2'x2' (approx 680 litre, dunno what that is in gal) I just need some advice on a filter for the thing, i have no idea when it comes to a tank of this size.
Thanks in advance,
Kym

Wow, sounds like you've got a really nice 180 gallon tank. Very nice!

Here's a good website.

Thanks Guys for the reply, the calculator site will come in rather handy... Ok down to business, any recomendations on filter brand? I'v had tanks for about 15 years but this is now a learning curve for me to tackle something of this size, i've only ever had 2' and 3' tanks, so I guess what i'm really asking is how many litres/gal per hour do i want to be pumping through?? and also what type of filter do i want, canister, etc??? there's only so much info i can trust from the LFS when it comes to this as it is still a business trying to make a profit..
Thanks Again,
Kym

EDIT: I am looking at a Fluval 404 or maybe one of the Eheim canister variety just not sure which way i should go...
