A friend of mine game me a 20 gallon tank its more of a reptile tank but i am going to put some fish in it. This tank is very tall. The hight is 24 1/2 width is 10 and length is 20. So my question is what do you think would go good and look good in this tall of a tank any ideas would be great thanks.

First..... make sure it's a tank that is ok to fill with water. Some of the tanks that you buy for reptiles have tags on them somewhere that say..."Do not fill with water"...most likely they aren't equipt to handle the pressure and weight....either the glass isn't thick enough or the way they put it together isn't strong enough.

Thanks for the tip i didn't see anything on the tank that said do not fill with water. And i looked over the seals and they all looked to be ok.

Even so, I'd suggest that you fill the tank in a garage or out on the back deck... somewhere level but also somewhere you don't mind flooded with 20 gallons of water. Leave it for a week or so. Just to be sure...

Next, is this your first tank? Do you have any experience with fishkeeping? Check out the sticky on Cycling a tank before going any further.
