Breeding Honey Gouramies

My honey gouramie makes his bubble nest up along the water edge, but the nest with eggs gets disrupted either when i do a w/c or tap off the tank.


any suggestions?

i had a lily plant and thought that will help by him building the nest underneath the leaf but has not work.

no, havn't tried it that way, but it will be the same thing. the water level will change, up/down disturbing the nest on the edge.

i thought about not doing the w/c till they are free swimmers but they take a few weeks! i have blue rams that i'm afraid of playing with sine it took me so long to get them to live this long now.
