I guess I won't be watching tonight's Maple Leafs vs. Senators game... I work night shift in 4 hours from now... but I woke up early to catch the first game of the season on TSN... but the **** StarChoice satellite isn't working because of the snowstorm here. Ah yes... snow on October 5 in Manitoba! *SIGH* It used to be it didn't snow until Halloween or so... it just keeps comin' earlier and earlier every year! :( I can't even turn on FM 87 radio frequency and catch the "audio" portion of the CBC network broadcast like I do from work sometimes... since CBC isn't even broadcasting the game! What is a Leafs fan to do? 10 minutes and counting until game time and the snow shows no signs of letting up. :( Wish me a safe drive to work later!

Drive carefully. I have to take our cat to the vet tomorrow morning and I'm already scared of what the conditions of the streets will be. But at least it will warm up and melt for the weekend.
 
kveeti: Nice to see another local in this international forum! I hope your cat does OK at the veteranarian... Felines seem especially wary of doctors. :P
 
If you would like to climb over two steep parapets/rooftops to get up there, feel free to give it a sweeping! The sleet/snow/freezing rain is horrible tonight... I can't believe this is happening in the first week of October!

Lol makes standing on the rail of the balcony in my boxers seem like a cake walk.

Snow in October kind of reminds me of TRick or Treating as a kid.
 
I was provided a web radio link by another friendly user and I tuned into the game 50% of the way through... and it's going to overtime as I write this, unfortunately due to the inclement weather I have to leave a few minutes early for work tonight so I gotta go shower quickly and get the heck out of dodge. LATER!

Wow, Snow in October... a week and a half ago it was 107 degrees Farenheit here. Since I have cable, I'll take the snow!
